i wanted to practice my skills in editing with adobe audition, but i also wanted to sing, so hear me sing a duet with myself. the base is really bad and out of sync, though (i’m not a base singer). here’s my cover of “make you feel my love” by adele
Mandatory
It's a rule. It's not a request. When God said "go and make disciples of every nation", He's not asking if you want to. It's a mandate.
More importantly, it's a quest. You're the swordsman God sent to conquer. Your armor's rusty, your shield has holes, your shoes are worn out. But your broadsword's ever so gleaming and sharp. (Ephesians 6:11-17) That's why we soldiers are awesome.

2. “Cover Your Eyes” by Children 18:3
3. “Undertow” by Timbaland feat. The Fray and Esthero
4. “Less Talk” by Queens Club
5. “Avalanche” by Manafest

7. “Chasing Cars” by snow Patrol

Most of them, like Poema’s “2 AM” and Children 18:3’s “Cover Your Eyes”, came from Tooth and Nail’s summer sampler. Others, like Anberlin’s “Autobahn” and Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars”, have long been in my mp3, I just didn’t listen to them much then.
If you wanna hear ‘em, go here.

The Classic Crime - Solar Powered LifeShe’s got a solar powered life
She dies without direct sunlight
But every morning in the spring
She wakes up early
And this is what she sings
My oh my what a beautiful day outside
Hey hey what a beautiful day
My oh my what a beautiful day outside
Hey hey what a beautiful day
Yeah
My baby gets depressed at night
All hope is gone with the twilight
But every morning after dawn
She sings to me
And this is her love song
My oh my what a beautiful day outside
Hey hey what a beautiful day
My oh my what a beautiful day outside (beautiful day)
Hey hey what a beautiful day
Yeah
I give you everything you need
I give vacations by the sea
If that’s what you need girl
I give you everything you want
Sitting sipping smoothies with your sunglasses on
My oh my what a beautiful day outside (beautiful day)
Hey hey what a beautiful day (beautiful day)
My oh my what a beautiful day outside (beautiful day)
Hey hey what a beautiful day (beautiful day)
My oh my what a beautiful day outside (beautiful day)
Hey hey what a beautiful day (beautiful day)

This video is enough to get me out of my Tumblr hiatus.
That is Stephani Germanotta, awesome pianist. yes, she’s purrty.
What possessed her to turn into world-famous Lady Gaga?
From a fun-sounding, harmonic Germanotta, she turned into a crazed controversial pop artist Gaga. Wow, a nightmare. I’m scared now.

This Month’s Playlist
The list is here.
It’s weird, I’ve been listening to a lot of hiphop these days.
I’m gearing up to complete my PE 2 on Street Jazz.
Then the others are meant for noise trips.

Reeling In The Fishing Rod
You have to reel the string back in the fishing rod so that you can try and catch fish again.
I know it’s a lame metaphor, but that’s what I’m doing right now. I guess it’s called “backtracking”. Here we go.
Election time is almost upon us, and the process is just getting muddier everyday. I’ve been yelling expletives at the TV whenever some politician’s commercial plays. I’ve been praying for a big change in the Philippines, one that would start now and not after the election. I’ll post about this later.
I’ve been having weird dreams lately. I toss and turn in my sleep as I dream about past and present crushes. In the past, I’ve struggled with feelings of wanting a girlfriend, but recently, I noticed that such desires are gone, at least for now. I feel comfy being able to say that I’m single, and it doesn’t bother me anymore. But then there’s my tendency to have crushes (I still am human, and they’re just crushes). The problem is that I have too many crushes. It changes everyday, so much so that Nikos called me “fickle crush”.
I’ve been overconfident these past few weeks. I’ve been trying to boost my self-esteem ever since I found out I was failing my grades. Now, I realize that I overshot it. I’ve been too mayabang and I’ve thought too highly of myself. Such is the case that I slipped in my walk with God. Yesterday, God gave me a big “telling-at”, like a father reprimanding his son who screwed up. Then suddenly, it’s as if He pulled me in His arms and embraced me, saying “it’s okay, you screwed up big time, but I forgive you.” It was a teary moment. So I guess I’m back on track.
Okay, time to cast the line and get my fish.
